Online Design II: Inspiration Log 1-1

Web Hosting Hub:

Web Hosting Hub’s site did an excellent job with usability particularly. Their hosting plans, Spark, Nitro, and Dynamo, are presented neatly on the home page with important information listed below each. Additionally, they employ a second header above their navigational header which directs the user to different mediums of receiving help from customer service. Alongside the “Login” button, the options to either call, Skype, chat, or navigate to the help center are displayed. This makes it easy for first-time users especially to solve any problems they may have concerning virtually everything from hosting plans to installment and more. They even include a secondary header at the bottom of their page with a recommendation from Jeffery Wilson of PCMag Editor who praises their customer service team for their hard work and reliability.

Secondly, the site makes it incredibly easy for customers to make quick use of their time when deciding to either host or modify their website through Web Hosting Hub’s service. In addition to their hosting plans being presented on the homepage, the first node on their primary header is the “Solutions” tab which offers information regarding new websites, transferring websites, and software solutions. Their content gets straight to the point and gets the customer where they want to go in a hurry. This is a highly admirable feature of a site that contains such a substantial amount of important information regarding their services. Lastly, their benefits are also presented in an organized fashion on the home page which draws you to utilizing their services. Boasting services such as a 1-click installer, unlimited space and email addresses, and advanced security, it is hard to find a reason why a potential customer would not want to use Web Hosting Hub’s hosting services.
